Focus on Commitment , Not Motivation
We all set goals in our lives, from our school life to our professional life, framing of goals is an important part of success yielding. I hope, I am right, we all set goals, indeed a big thing to get started, but to get going, the most important aspect is to commit yourself to your goals, but how many of us are actually committed to our goals and focus on commitment instead of grabbing motivation from various sources?
THE ANSWER IS” VERY FEW OF US” WHICH IN FACT SHOULD BE” MOST OF US” AND WE HAVE TO MAKE THIS” MOST OF US” IN ORDER TO BE SUCCESSFUL.
Without focusing on commitment you cannot be successful anywhere and that is guaranteed…! HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES.
1) C Ronaldo: One of the greats of football. WHAT DO YOU THINK, WHAT HELPED HIM TO ACHIEVE HIS GOALS? THE ANSWER IS” COMMITTMENT”. He was committed towards his goals and the motivation followed like the diet plans, physical fitness, mental fitness. this shows you don’t need motivation to be successful, be committed, motivation will come from inside simultaneously and it is a deadly combination all together.
2) M Zuckerberg: Whole world knows him, if he was not there, I don’t think that the whole globe could be connected. WHAT HE WAS? Simply a computer programmer WHAT HE HAD? THE ANSWER IS” COMMITTMENT” TO STAND APART. Otherwise, who thought this small child can do this wonder. Because of his commitment towards his goals, he got motivation to work day and night. THIS AGAIN PROVES THAT MOTIVATION WILL FOLLOW YOU, PROVIDED YOU ARE COMMITTED.
Generally, on the eve of new year, we all set resolutions like: I WILL THINK POSITIVELY, I WILL EXCERSISE MORE, I WILL STOP SMOKING OR DRINKING.
We try to bring a change that is we set goals, but most of us end up breaking the resolution in not more than 6 days, what is lacking? ” focus on commitment” For an employee in business organization, if he is committed to his job, he will find his job worth doing and will enjoy working.
When I was in my school, I just wanted to get results, had an interest in getting results, but was not willing to commit myself. And I have seen worst of the times. But now scenario has changed, I am committed to my goals and due to commitment, I am able to work for them. This is how life goes. Must follow this step, you will reach heights.
If only by thinking we could achieve everything, everyone would have been millionaires but not everyone is.so start working, it’s your life, you have to manage, find a purpose in your life and commitment, you will do everything for that goal.
ONE MORE THING , IF YOU ARE COMMITTED TO SOMETHING , IT MAKES THAT THING LOOK ”INTERESTING” TO YOU NO MATTER HOW HARD IT IS, So here we have already found out the numerous benefits of being committed , whenever you decide to achieve a particular goal, it needs commitment, that is , how badly you want it, how much you are willing to sacrifice, commitment makes you sacrifice something to reach our goal automatically, isn’t it great?YOU JUST NEED TO BE COMMITTED, EVERYTHING ELSE WILL FOLLOW…!
NOW, WE HAVE STUDIED THAT COMMITTMENT INDEED PLAYS AND IMPORTANT ROLE. NOW THE QUESTION IS, HOW TO BE COMMITTED? HERE IS THE ANSWER.
- Devote a considerable time in your daily routine for bringing the change, if you will follow this, you will find yourself committed to your goal some or the other day. 🙂
- Be true to yourself, as we have studied already about this, being true to yourself, daily following the set routine, brings commitment inside you, along with other benefits.
- Set realistic goals, if you set realistic goals, you will have some respect in your mind and working on realistic goals brings commitment. FOR EX: IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD PHYSIQUE, DONT FOCUS ON GAINING STRENGTH, INSTEAD, START HAVING A GOOD DIET, MORE FRUITS, QUIT SMOKING AND DRINKING, AND THE COMMITTMENT WILL COME FOLLOWED BY MOTIVATION WHICH WILL AUTOMATICALLY RESULT IN GAINING STRENGTH.
- Don’t eliminate, do it less. If you have set a resolution to quit using too much of mobile phone, don’t start with completely quitting it, it will result in more and more temptation and you will again fall on your old pattern of life, instead start minimizing its usage slowly and steadily and some day will come, you will end up using it only for meaningful purposes. “Just focus on commitment, slowly and steadily, you will reach there.
THIS IS HOW COMMITTMENT WORKS AND IT MAKES YOU LEAD YOUR LIFE IN AN INTERESTING AND MEANINGFUL MANNER WITH AN ACHIEVMENT ORIENTED TECHNIQUE WHICH IS FOUND RARELY IN HUMANS. 😛 🙂 ❤
SURROUND YOURSELF WITH THOSE WHO HAVE PASSION AND COMMITTMENT TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS, IT WILL ADD MORE VALUE TO YOUR LIFE. 🙂
If you make the unconditional commitment to reach your most important goals, if the strength of your decision is sufficient, you will find the way and the power to achieve ANYTHNG , IT MEANS ANYTHING IN THIS WORLD.NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE , THERE IS JUST A LACK OF COMMITTMENT AND DEDICATION, ❤ 🙂
Unless , focus on commitment is there and you ultimately commit yourself to achieving something , there are only promises and hopes… but no plans. 😦
